Our Classic version takes our Allroad frame to another level. We’ve optimized stiffness-to-weight for each frame section, for example we’ve design-engineered a slightly more voluminous down tube at the head-tube connection.

  • Cockpit/frame interface

    Classic Frame’s cockpit is designed to interface with standard à la carte components, such as stem and handlebar. Round interface and round headset cap accommodate corresponding components.

  • Fork/frame interface

    Classic Conceived to be structurally efficient following the load path from rider to head tube to fork. Engineered for the low weight and high stiffness ideal that’s characteristic of the classic design. The fork/frame interface is designed to be as structurally efficient as possible by following the frame’s load path. This design creates the best stiffness relative to weight in the frame’s front end.

  • Purpose-built downtube

    Classic The downtube cross-section is engineered, analyzed, and optimized for maximum-stiffness-to-weight from end to end.

  • Seat stay connection

    Classic Seat stay connection is placed strategically lower in the seat tube to improve comfort. The connection itself transitions smoothly to a round seat tube interface in order to accept round 27.2 mm seat posts.

  • Seat tube interface

    Classic 27.2 mm round tube interface is designed to be compatible with a wide range of seat posts and to increase comfort.

    integrated Frame cockpit is designed to interface flawlessly with our integrated handlebar-stem with proprietary spacer for optimal aerodynamics and a clean cockpit.

    integrated Frame interface adopts a crown design to create a seamless transition area for improved aerodynamics. Interface has been conceived to follow the airflow path.

  • Purpose-built downtube

    integrated Downtube is engineered, analyzed, and optimized for best possible parity between aerodynamics, stiffness and weight.

    integrated Seat stay connection is placed strategically lower in the seat tube to improve comfort. The seat stay connection has been engineered and optimized to offer better aerodynamics.

    integrated Semi-aero seat post tube of our own design flawlessly integrates with the frame to deliver optimal aerodynamic performance from end to end.

Our riding styles

Endurance is for those riders who enjoy spending long hours in the saddle.

We’ve adjusted chain stay length and the wheelbase-to-fork-trail ratio individually for each customer. We aim for a bike that’s well balanced at any speed and comfortable, but that still rides like a race bike. Customers who underwent our EXEPT bike fit will be positioned in a more vertical upper body position.

INTEGRATED SEAT CLAMP

Unique wedge design evenly distributes loads to reduce stress on frame. A carbon fiber plate between the wedge and the seatpost increases effective surface area to moderate clamping force. The seat clamp is designed to be seamlessly integrated into the frame to preserve its minimalist look.

CUSTOM CABLE MANAGEMENT

Cable entries are designed to perfectly integrate a range of proprietary groupset features. For example, Shimano’s Di2 junction box is integrated into the lower part of the downtube, where there’s less stress on the frame. In the instance of SRAM eTap, the absence of cable entries further minimizes frame fatigue. Dedicated entries for mechanical shifting can be converted to electronic shifting at any time.

PURPOSE ENGINEERED AND OPTIMIZED STRUCTURES

Curvature analysis is performed in order to achieve optimal performance in one of two ideals: stiffness-to-weight and aerodynamics*. A structure optimized for a classic design would yield the greatest stiffness-to-weight ratio, whereas a structure optimized for an integrated design would possess more pronounced aerodynamic features.

A large volume bottom bracket with a 46 mm diameter and 86.5 mm width was chosen for its maximum stiffness to weight properties. This affords the rider more efficient pedalling with no loss of power transfer.

WIDE TIRE CLEARANCE

Sufficient tire clearance for tires up to 30 mm wide mounted on wide carbon fiber rims. Tires can be selected as a matter of personal choice beyond a predetermined race setup (25 mm) or endurance setup (28 mm).
